Default advice on plymouth horizon

advice on plymouth horizon.

I need advice on this front wheel drive car....so here's I is.

The driver side cv joint leaks at the seal, and I can't stop the leak. I
replaced the seal, but it still leaks. the question I have is this: is it
the bushing in the transmission and if it is, how hard is that to replace?
does it require removal of the transmission or are the bolts removed on the
transmission where the seal is located for replacement?

Or.... maybe it is the transmission filter. Perhaps a clog in it is causing
this leak?

hope you can help.... and please don't say junk it, it's the only car I
have.
