Is this a scam or is there a market for dead AMD processors????

According to an uncle, there's gold inside them. don't know how many
you need to be rich.

Default ebay batch of CPUS WTF??

Oh, there's gold in them thar CPU's.....and other computer components as
well.

Back in the late 1980's/early 1990's a clever lad in the USA bid for a whole
warehouse full of superseded mainframe computer equipment used by government
departments. Everyone thought he was nuts, even tho' he got the job-lot at a
price that was as close to zero as you could get.

He stripped the boards out of every case and chassis, ground them up, ran
the resulting gravel through a processing procedure and ended up making a
small fortune from the sale of precious metals..........which included gold.

Probably before the days that the hazardous chemicals used
to extract the metals became too expensive to legally
dispose of.
