Default door lock actuator

if you've ever been unable to open drivers door, then you'll know my grief.
when a honda electric door lock actuator fails the only way to get door
open is to get the inner panel off, get a drill inside the door cavity and
drill out the actuator through the factory pilot hole eventually it will
release. the problem is that the part is $350 can. but if you find one at
wrecker their around $100
this has happened to me twice in the last 6mos.
Does anyone know of any alternatives for next time???
p.s honda charges upto $750 can. to fix this

buy the new latch from honda. it was a known problem, there is a
bulletin on them. if you keep buying used ones you will forever have
this problem.
