Default sharp clutch

hi, just got 98-civic aerodeck 18vti lovely car bit worried about
sharp clutch only have to lift foot slightly and your away gear
changes fine no judder is pedal height(130mm) crucial to clutch
biting point? or is this normal for a honda? thanks marty.
