Default mp3 player for BMW 323i-1999?

Hello BMW owners!

I have a BMW 323i, 1999. No CD player there, but of course, an option
for CD changer which located in the trunk area.

Is there any products that I can easily hook up an MP3 player to my
car, and I can select songs easily, etc?

....Many years ago, I tried portable mp3 player + cassette tape player
adapter, which was inconvenient. Then a PDA with an adapter to use FM
radio, the sound quality was awful. PDA + tape player adapter works
fine, but still cord clutter and it's not convenient to carry PDA to
the car, hide it when I leave the card.

I recently purchased cassette tape lookalike MP3 player from Think
Geek, takes 2GB SD card, just use it as a cassette. Sounds simple and
nice, but I can't select songs easily, and it only plays number of
songs over and over again, although I have hundreds of songs on the SD
card.

I think you can use Alpine's CD/MP3 changer in the old changer's place ...
may need a bus adapter.

OR, you could go first class and intergrate an iPod.

Highly recommended.

Go to a dedicated car audio shop - you will find hundred of item like what you
want.

There is an adaptor that will allow bluetooth phone and an iPod type player to
interface with the BMW radio set up and probably other radios with similar
interfaces with MP3 player/iPod setups.
