Default Acura 1.6 EL

I have an Acura 1.6 EL with keyless remote entry and oem alarm.

The alarm has been going off on it's own from time to time. This
happens mostly in damp or wet conditions. What is the best way to
isolate this problem? Is there a way for me to simply disable the
alarm? Please provide detailed instructions if possible as I know
very little about cars but am not afraid of trying to resolve the
problem my self.
Quick not. The front passenger side automatic door lock does not work
and the door has to be manually locked. Not sure if this has any
implications on the alarm going off.

I also have a problem with the keyless remote as it does not always
work. I've replaced the battery and this still did not resolve the
issue.

Thank You.
