Default knock sensor

my 96 mercury villager just quite on my way to work. I'm told its the knock
sensor bank 1. the van starts but won't stay running oh and now its running
only on 2 cylinknock sensorders don't understand.

Default knock sensor


You should have another mechanic look at it. A knock sensor is not a critical component. It seems to me that the engine management program should use a fail safe condition to keep the engine running.
