Default firewall access on Dodge Caravan 2001

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this and am posting for the first time. I hope someone here
can help..

I just bought a used Dodge Caravan 2001 and am in the process of
installing a basic alarm. I am looking for a good way to thread just 1
wire through the firewall, preferably the driver side. This is for the
ignition kill feature of the alarm. Also, where can I locate the
ignition harness that contains the wires for the starter and what are
the color codes? And help or website explaining this would be greatly
appreciated!!

Thanks..

I've never looked under the hood of a newer-style caravan, so I can't say
for sure...but in every vehicle I've run a wire thru the firewall on before,
I've been able to find a rubber grommet/boot sort of thing that you can
typically cut a knife slit or something into enough to push a wire thru -
usually seals up pretty good back around the wire too. Just be careful
where you are that you don't cut into a wire!

Good luck!
