Replacing driver's side curtain and driver's side seat airbags... '04 Jetta
I was wondering if anyone could explain to me all the parts that would
be necessary to replace if my side curtain airbag and side seat airbag went off in my '04 Jetta GLS. It has leather seats and the side seat airbag tore right through the side of the driver's seat. Also, the seat belt on the driver's side will not pull out or retract. I am contemplating replacing the parts myself, so also I would like to know if anybody had condemning advice against replacing airbags. |

I've never done it, but I know that airbag repair demands that whoever is
doing the work must know exactly what they are doing. There is danger involved if it is not done correctly. |

besides the parts that went bang, you need to replace the airbag ECU(not
cheap), around $500. suggest insurance company. > wrote in message oups.com... > I was wondering if anyone could explain to me all the parts that would > be necessary to replace if my side curtain airbag and side seat airbag > went off in my '04 Jetta GLS.
