which moderately priced FF wheel (UK)?

I am looking for a moderately priced USB force feedback wheel here in
the UK to replace my old gameport MSFF wheel (no gameport on
laptops!).

I am considering the Logitech Formula Force at about £50 or maybe the
Momo on special at £70.

I'm not a die-hard simmer, just a casual user, but I'd appreciate any
advice, and any recommended supplier in the UK.

ok, strapping on fire resistant suit for this reply!!

i know theyve had some stick from other forums at RSC but i bought my
first FFB wheel in October which is a Saitek r440. apparently they are
based on the MS ffb wheel of old so are quite dependable. info
follows....

its an optical wheel and i believe the pedals are the same.

the pedals are top hinged like in any normal road car so instead of
pushing the pedal and base unit away when you brake the force applied is
actually pushing down on the floor, so no slipping pedals.

the springs in the pedals dont offer much resistance and are quite weak
compared to other units, when i say `weak` i dont mean they will break
straight away but offer alot less resistance than normal pedals, but ive
got used to them and find them great to use.

you can easily open the wheel up and grease the cogs if you want, i have
and its keeps the feel smooth and stops any niggling squeaks when the
unit `dries` up after use.

software is very simple to use, i have not installed the profiler
software and have had no probs with calibration and setting up in games.
in the control panel theres a little box to tick to enable split axis
and thats it,very easy to do.

im very impressed with my purchase and now they`ve come down in price in
the uk to £46, which is a bargain and a great intro to FFB wheels

If you look hard enough, you can probably still find a new MSFFW USB for
around $50 or less. I still believe it's the best consumer-class wheel
money can buy.

Depends - I got a new Ferrari Enzo wheel for =A330 in Currys - the same=20
branch (Parkhead) had them for =A320 a couple of weeks ago.
