Mostly due to it's just 'cleaner'. I've had auctions in the past where
"the check is in the mail" and a week or more later, still nothing and I
never hear from the person again. Yeah, I'm not out anything... but I'm
still sitting on the item and have to go through re-listing, etc.

I trust PayPal as far as I can throw my house, and the service I've received
from them has been terrible.

I'll never use PayPal again.

wow - i'm been using paypal since day one and I haven't had any problems.
Personally, I prefer paypal over check or money order. The only downside to
paypal is they require a bank account. Which is easy to set up. A 5 minute
trip to the bank and bingo, you have a paypal bank account.

Hmm, I am an eBay power seller and have used PayPal for 3 years. I have had
no problems, but have heard buyer complaints. Usually it is someone that
doesn't have a PayPal account and tries to make a purchase then has to wait
days till their money clears. Once the account is set up properly it
shouldn't be any problem making transactions.

That's true.
I am talking about the support and followup from ****pal
READ carefully....
when you get ripped off by a seller online - ****pal is quite useless at
helping to get your money back - they are much better at making you search
for hours for a way to get REAL support from them... if you eventually get a
complaint filed 'properly' (hrphh) then their next best skill comes into
play -- ignoring you until such point as you give up on ever seeing your
money again.
Don't EVER use ****pal for a purchase of "considerable" monies...

There are many FALSE CRIMINAL minded sellers that know you have only a VERY
SHORT period of time to get money refunded. They will stall you and "add
free items" to your order to calm you until it is too late to get a
refund --even requesting a refund from the seller goes unheeded and ****pal
does not accept that as being valid. You get no product and NO HELP FROM
****PAL to get your money back.

I'm glad it works for you.... send me $1,000 via ****pal and I will send
you my Corvette (valued considerably higher...) It may take a while to
clear your payment though... so just wait til it gets there. If it hasn't
arrived in 6 weeks... contact ****pal and get your money back.
