Default SRS Lamp 1999 Honda Accord (UK Car)

My SRS Lamp came on yesterday, does anyone know whether this signals a big
bill, are there any brief checks anyone knows about? My MOT is due next
month, does this mean an automatic fail?

TIA

Ed

Probably, but until you get the fault codes read nobody can say.

You haven't disconected any SRS system wires at all have you?
Fitted any accesories and used an SRS system wire as the 12volt feed?

As to MOT not sure, ring a test station and ask, then please let us all
know.

Tomorrow it will be drier (I hope) and i will rootle amongst the wires under
the seats. Phoned the MOT centre, it does not look into the SRS system
strangely so it won't affect my MOT.

I will let the group know the final outcome.

Thanks
