Says...a zinc coating on the cable bolts could be too thick. That can
cause a voltage drop that can damage the engine control computer.

How is that possible??? Is Zinc that poor a conductor??

that doesn't even make sense. Zinc *is* a fairly poor conductor...
but it's actually a better one than lead, which is of what battery
terminals have traditionally been made since the beginning of time.

Zinc forms a layer of zinc oxide when exposed to air. Zinc oxide is a very,
very good insulator. You should never, ever use galvanized hardware for
electrical connections.
