Which is better, SCE or Nascar Acceleration?

I heard the handling of the SCE is way off. Is that true?

The votes so far for SCE at Rfactor Central are not giving the mod good
marks. I stopped even looking at the mod once they started all the
commercial junk and seemed to be definitely headed for a commercial release.
There's too much to do with rFactor than to goof with SCE and all its
politics and commercialism. N2003 is still the best way to go, if oval
racing is to your liking.

Oddly enough, the messages at RaceSimCentral seem positive. They seem
to indicate that the physics are apparently much improved over the 0.96
release, and some are saying it is better than the NSCR cars included
with rFactor 1.150.

So who're going to believe?

Well, RFC now has SCE up to four of five stars. I would think that SCE is
probably the best Nascar mod out for rFactor, but the game is so
commercialized that it turned me off. I will try it, but I think most agree
that for oval racing N2003 is still tops.

I think there will be a lot of converts to SCE and the 0.97 release. As
far as N2003, how much longer can it last? As far as being
commercialized, I'm not sure what you mean? Willie

It's coming up on 3 1/2 years old now, and most leagues still run it
for their NASCAR series. It will take, IMO, a major improvement in
several areas to topple NR2003. With the BR tracks, the
Superspeedway.net project, Dave Hoffman's spotter pack a host of
current carsets and many assorted other addons, NR2003 is still the way
to go.

Many still play Counterstrike as well. Does that mean its not a bug filled
cheat-fest?

Ill hazard that so many have worked so hard for so long to gain an advantage
over the code that going to a more secure/fair game where suddenly they are
mediocre just doesnt appeal.

That said youre right there isnt any competition for serious Nascar
simracers yet
