They have another similar one, with the punch line "get your girl on."
Both seem equally pathetic to me. While I probably have more
involvement with my vehicles than most, the day that I start relying on
my vehicle to define myself is the day that I should probably just suck
off a shotgun and get it over with.

Another reason to hate a hummer.

I once perused a magazine with a hummer ad. It had a full-size hummer
in the driveway with a toy hummer in front. Part of the small text
quoted the driver nearly thusly: "The best part is, anything I hit, I
win."

What a pathetic, dangerous, arrogant, et cetera, attitude. How 'bout
he learns to drive so he doesn't hit the rest of us? jeez

I'll have to look that one up. Really shocking they'd use that in an
ad.

The other commercials though, are interesting. Mostly because they
represent the stuff that usually SUV critics say about SUV drivers.
Compensating for alienation, trying to make up for lack of feelings of
self-worth, etc.

Me, I drive station wagons and ride scooters, eat tofu, all
unapologeticly, and I think I'm just as much a "real man" as anybody else.
