Default Block drain plug location ??????

I want to drain the antifreeze on my 2002 Mazda Protege with the 2.0
litre engine. Yes, I know it is a Miata group, but many have Proteges
also.

I had a 1997 Protege and the owner's manual showed a block drain under
the exhaust manifold. Never did find it. My daughter has the car now.

I looked in the owner's manual for the 2002 that came with the car ,
and it does not even mention a drain plug. I know there has to be one.

Any help appreciated.

TIA

pull the plug at the rad and most of it will come out there because the
drain plug at the rad is lower then the block, thats how the dealer does
it.
