Default "Honest Engine" ?

A local shop calls itself "Honest Engine", complete with a native
American with a Headdress logo . Don't ask them about it. They're
sensitive.

Are these the culturally insensitive culprits? http://www.honesteng.com/
Why aren't the PC police in an uproar about this? Whoever they are, they
must get so much word of mouth business that they don't need to publish
a business address.

if it's an "appointment only" business, as the contact pages says, it's a
moot point.. set up an appointment, they can give you the address!!!(yeah,
just being silly, simply do a reverse lookup on the phone number if you want
addy)

Actually, I did a reverse number lookup on two sites before I posted
last night and all I got was that the phone carrier is in Newport Beach,
although someone left a web page comment that they are located in Costa
Mesa -- which borders NB. But since they limit their work to 356s, who
needs them? Not that I would kick a Pebble Beach winning 356 out of my
garage.

I'm part Indian.
The name doesn't bother me but the use of the Headdress does.

I am part Native American. The hysterics of white America about school
names just amuses me. Whites to all that for selfish political reasons.
They still don't care about Native Americans. It's all tokenism.

John, I am a white that does care about Native Americans. I believe in
their culture and in their Spirituality. I try to follow their
teaching about Mother Earth and the ways of Nature. Not all whites are
Ignorant of this. I Pray that the Great Spirit keeps all safe, even
those who don't believe.

May you always walk in Beauty, John. Oho
