Default '53 Packard Clipper

I just got a Packard Clipper 1953. I need to get a new battery, as the
car has no battery, can someone tell me what type of battery, voltage,

According to Chilton's, Packard used a six volt system. If you just want a basic
battery, Sears carries one six volt model at a reasonable price.

Kanter Auto Products specializes in stuff for Packards. They also sell batteries,
but their stuff is intended to look like the original battery and is pretty high
priced. They're at http://www.kanter.com and 1-800-526-1096.
