Default 24 Volts to a 12 Volt winch for 30 seconds?

Has anyone applied 24 Volts to a 12 Volt winch for 30 seconds?

I need to pull about 300 pounds faster than the 12 Volt winch allows.

I don't believe that a 2,000 pound 12 Volt winch would be too max'd out
at 24 Volts pulling 300 pound.

What do you think?

budget 60 seconds in a day, then you will not have to buy a new winch after
you burn this one out with 24 volts

comp guys run 24volts to 12 volt motors in the warn 8000lb high mounts, and
yes they burn them out faster, but they pull real fast, but they last a comp
or 2 of hard winching
