Found this at the Library of Congress. Lots of women camping in pants in ~1920s. Large, multi-dwelling tents along with the corner of a permanent awning suggest these two are leading a group. (Boy Scouts had been around since 1910.) Title: Lake Public auto camp party (E. S. Bach) Summary: Photograph shows man and woman sitting in tent camping among the trees with automobiles and other tents near by. Contributor Names: Hayes, J. E., copyright claimant Created / Published: c1923. Notes - Copyright 1923 by J. E. Hayes. - Probably in or near Yellowstone National Park. https://www.loc.gov/item/2012645668/?loclr=pin |
