Default Accord's Got Oil

My niece left off her 01 Accord from me to look over because of a rough
idle. It runs great otherwise.

I picked up a set of Champion fine wire Irid plugs. when I pulled out each
of the old plugs the upper portion [outside of the cyclinder hole] were
drenched in oil. Each plug mind you. Where did this oil come from and what
is the fix?

Richard.

The rubber O-rings that seal off the spark plug tubes from the oil inside
the valve cover. They're leaking and in need of replacement. Do a valve
adjustment while you're in there.

What engine have you got? The newer VTEC engines don't have any rubber O-
rings, but instead have long tubes that are part of the head.
