Goodyear Wrangler F1
I have just had a Goodyear Wrangler F1 replaced F.O.C due to radial
splitting of the sidewall. The tyre had approximately 3000 miles of use and was not visibly scuffed or bruised. The dealer agreed that the splits were a manufacturing fault and replaced it without argument. Recently I had a very high speed blow out of the same make of tyre but the tyre was totally destroyed in the incident therefore I have no evidence that a similar fault was the cause-- but I do wonder. The splits are only visible at the bottom of the tyre when spread under the vehicle weight. They close as the wheel revolves making them totally invisible. It was only by sheer chance that I noticed them. Has anyone else had similar experience with this product? -- Mike Green |
