Yep. I get 'em all the time from the local dealerships. But with pretty
pictures instead of a "Dear Sir:-".

I bet you could still do that for Maxbass, ND.
Although, someone in the post office would write the
zip code on it nowadays.

Not with the attitude of today's postal workers. When I was in my teens I
lived in a small town. Everyone in the Post Office new everyone in the
county. They made a sincere effort to get mail to the right people. Today,
the workers in my home town post office are mostly strangers and can't be
troubled to do something like that. If the address isn't complete, the
letter is returned or thrown in the unknown address bin. Or in some cases
they jsut deliver it to a random address - my Mother constantly gets mail
addressed to others. I suppose it is like Newman said -

"Because the mail never stops. It just keeps coming and coming and coming.
There's never a letup, It's relentless. Every day it piles up more and more,
but the more you get out, the more it keeps coming. And then the bar code
reader breaks. And then it's Publisher's Clearinghouse day."

I guess the mail has to go somewhere....

The only snail mail magazines I subscribe to are Popular Mechanics and
Popular Science and PC World and Smart Computing and Laptop Magazine.
I am not married, as long as Playboy and Latina wants to send me freebie
magazines its alright with me.
