I only see the 'apparent' work done to locate the vehicle vs 'it's on
the lot as a special order. Maybe the law might say something else, but
if it did we wouldn't be having this conversation....

I know up here in Canada, at least ten years ago when I last checked at
a used car dealership, a deposit isn't refunded unless you get it in
writing first.....

You can stop yelling! I am Canadian and won't buy your book anyway.

Please clarify the word 'MOSTLY' when aimed at deposits? I have found
the opposite. Deposits are 'mostly' not given back. The dealer said he
did the homework to justify the deposit. Now the fact that he appeared
to lie, well... who has the better lawyer.....
