Default Getting door dings on a new Vette?

Hey, just curious... when someone opens their door in a parking lot and
smacks the side of your late model Vette, what happens? (Other than making
you mad as hell.) How do the composite panels respond to minor impacts? I
assume they do not "dent" like sheet metal. Do they crack? Or? To my
knowledge they are not pliable like those Saturn panels. I just took a good
look at the passenger side of my wife's car today and could not believe the
amount of door dings (she parks in a lot every day).... must be 20 or more
separate dings. Hard to believe how many inconsiderate slobs there are out
there... really makes me angry. There's no excuse. Those slobs better hope
that I never catch them whacking a door into any of my cars. I may just
return the favor with a sledgehammer.
