Considering an alfa as my next car. Need advice.

It seems that these were offered, but the takeup was so small as to
assume that you're not going to find one.

These are common options on the 75 from the time. So much so I had
assumed a powered roof was standard.

But he never fitted leather to a 75, right?

I've just Googled for:
"alfa 75 leder" (German)
"alfa 75 cuir" (French)
"alfa 75 pelle" (Italian)
and found loads of small ads thoughout Europe for 75s with leather
interiors, for what it's worth.

I really can't be arsed with all this willy-waggling and trying to prove
me wrong.

Suffice to say that what was available on the continent doesn't reflect
what was available in the UK, 75s are quite old and desireable these
days, so many will have been retrimmed. However, whatever the official
booklet says, there were so few sold in the UK that the OP may as well
forget the idea of finding one with leather (or aircon, coming to that).

Easy up, huh?

Steve is in error, but he does have a fair point. They are very rare (IME)
in the UK, and ergo hard to find second hand. That's hardly a reason for
what seems to be turing rapidly into a witch hunt.

The only reason I bother to correct factual errors is that this isn't a chat
room - it all gets archived by Google and someone may one day rely on it.
I've used Dejanews & Google Groups for years and it can be a right pain when
someone posts factually incorrect info.

BTW, you'd have a lot more credibility around here if you started using
phrases like "AFAIK" and "IME" when you can't be sure of stuff. FYI I have
seen 75s advertised with aircon.

Sounds like you're a bit wound up, so why not go and have a beer or
something...

Most early 155s in red are now distinctly pink, plus it didn't seem to
be a particularly common colour anyway. The platinum metallic is
stunning, but I also quite like my silver - it's better than the white
on my 75. [1]

[1] It's the whitest white I've ever seen on a car - everything else
looks beige in comparison, and it's absolutely blinding in sunlight.
