If someone like him rarely sees one, then the rest of us have no chance. I'm surprised it was available, but that's mainly based on the fact that I've never seen one, IYSWIM. -- Steve H 'You're not a real petrolhead unless you've owned an Alfa Romeo' http://www.italiancar.co.uk - Honda VFR800 - MZ ETZ300 VW Golf GL Cabrio - Alfa 75 TS - Alfa 155 TS Lusso - COSOC KOTL BoTAFOT #87 - BoTAFOF #18 - MRO # - UKRMSBC #7 - Apostle #2 - YTC # |

Probably sold now, and most likely for peanuts, 'cos it was a bit too 'out of the box' for most people, and he'd had it for months. Mechanically, mine is now superb, but needs some minor bodywork doing to make it perfect. I plan to sort this sometime this year, though. -- Steve H 'You're not a real petrolhead unless you've owned an Alfa Romeo' http://www.italiancar.co.uk - Honda VFR800 - MZ ETZ300 VW Golf GL Cabrio - Alfa 75 TS - Alfa 155 TS Lusso - COSOC KOTL BoTAFOT #87 - BoTAFOF #18 - MRO # - UKRMSBC #7 - Apostle #2 - YTC # |

Just because you didn't see one, doesn't mean it wasn't an option, and that no-one ordered it (to state the obvious). > However, if it was available, it was as a dealer-fit retrim, not > factory, Was it? How did you work that one out? Looks factory-fit in the pics in my brochure... Other options we -Air con -Elec sunroof (standard in the 3.0) -Metallic paint The LE only came with Recaro cloth, as you say, but some previous model years had these options - I think from the time when they stopped offering the 1.8 and (in the UK at least) only offered the 2.0TS and 3.0 Cloverleaf. The LE was sold around in 1992, so I guess the brochure I have was from around 1990. HTH Mark |

I worked it out as I know someone who did a lot of dealer-fit leather trims at one point. It's is / was quite common to do this, especially with Japanese stuff, rather than take a leather option from the factory (if it existed). -- Steve H 'You're not a real petrolhead unless you've owned an Alfa Romeo' http://www.italiancar.co.uk - Honda VFR800 - MZ ETZ300 VW Golf GL Cabrio - Alfa 75 TS - Alfa 155 TS Lusso - COSOC KOTL BoTAFOT #87 - BoTAFOF #18 - MRO # - UKRMSBC #7 - Apostle #2 - YTC # |
