Looked up all my codes here

Don't have an R8R but there is a B84, side moldings, otherwise I would
think it has to be a standard item on all models.

To the best of my knowledge standard build codes appeared on all cars
and in some cases were items that went with a particular option that
was on the car. The build code was not an option that could be ordered
as such but did come with an ordered option. Note that the LS1 came
with all 1998 Corvettes. Is you car a pace car? The Z4Z, & 921
indicates that it is but the 923 says it has light gray interior??

The R7_ and R8_ RPO codes are used for special dealer/customer requests.
Some are specific control-sales codes, others are write-in.

In essence, some dealerships are enabled by GM due their high-sales to
afford special customers special consideration not otherwise available to
the general public.
