AC help (DAD)
No, or maybe, but not because it is Brad, because I have met Brad on several occasions and think he is a decent guy overall.
If you install the compressor, and do all your own AC work, including the dryer and such, then it is only your labor you throw away if the compressor dies two months from now. In this case, it is probably an ok deal. If you take it to someone else to install, then he warrants his work, but not your used part. If the compressor dies two months from now, his warranty doesn't cover it or his work, so you have to pay it all again to fix. If you go to someone else, and they install their compressor, then they warrant all their work. If the compressor dies two months from now, his warranty does cover it and his work, so you don't have to pay it all again to fix. So if you do your own, then try it. If you pay someone else, saving a few bucks will cost in the long run. "ZÿRiX" > wrote in message ... Do you think this is a good deal?
