Default ticket for stop sign

Hi,

I got a $50 ticket for running a stop sign. I know I am guilty. In
delaware one gets 3 points for running a stop sign. I wanted to know
what can I do to not get those points. I called up the court and they
told me that the judge does not give you points, so unless judge calls
me not guilty I would get those points. I dont have any points
currently. I had another ticket 3 years back but the points have
expired. Can anyone suggest what I can do to avoid these points and
higher insurance costs. Thanks.

In NY you can take a defensive driving course and a number of points
will be deducted.

Can a judge reduce the violation to a non-moving violation and thereby
making it a no-points offense?? I thought people negotiate their
speeding tickets in court all the time to reduce points and fine.

yea, it's called bomb the courthouse

if people were threatening to bomb courthouses and kill cops, the ticket
nonsense would stop
