Or an Imprezza wagon... if you just want cheap, get the 88-91 civic sedan. they're about half the price of the hatchbacks, but you get the same fuel economy and handling. don't forget to change the o-rings on the throttle body injectors if you get the d15 motor - they can leak and not only does gas consumption at idle become a problem, you'll chew through cats like crazy. the 92-95's are fine, but cheapened up in a number of ways which i don't care for. [they chew through front suspension bushings quite impressively for example.] post separately if you want a list of 88-91 things to look out for. and cheapo things you can do to give one a little more performance sparkle. -- nomina rutrum rutrum |
