Catholicism is dying in the US. Churches are closing every day. Nobody is
going into the clergy anymore. Nuns are aging rapidly with nobody to
replace them.

The Catholics are also losing. One only has to visit one of their
church services to notice all the empty pews.

Because that's when the last Crusade ended.

Another thing they could do is pay the thousands of victims of child rape by
Catholic priests. The Catholic cult is nothing but a child sex ring. And I
am willing to bet that it's a lot worse than anybody knows. If I had been
raped by a priest I wouldn't tell anybody.

You first mentioned "1834" AFTER my comment above.

I see. So the various Catholic orders, Templars, Hospitallers, etc.
were engaged in expeditionary warfare in the Holy Land as late as 1834,
you say? Fascinating. I always thought the Crusades ended around the
13th Century, give or take a few minor skirmishes there and elsewhere.

Of course, George Bush referred to our invasions in the Middle East as a
"crusade" around 2002 or so, but that was just a verbal gaffe.

They are finally beginning to be required to do so.

They are that, and so much more.

It's usually worse than anybody knows. There are doubtless many thing
buried away in the expansive Vatican archives that would dramatically
alter our view and understanding of history, were they ever to see the
light of day.
