Anyone can help me into identifying that car I saw at a local shoppingmall?

My guess is it's a Peugeot 504 wagon with the back cut off. Pictures from
1971.

The thing that suggests to me that this is a custom, is the line of the roof
where it ends above the back window. It looks too flat to me, like a
straight line that has been chopped. If it was a factory model I'd expect
the line to be rounded down towards the back.

I was thinking about Subaru as well, but did they ever have a 4 door
version of their car-pickup?
