the Riviera's once beautiful body had been muddled with so that it gained
rear wheel covers, gained a huge heavy grille and lost whatever claim it
might have had on lithe looks. Too bad.

Thank goodness for different tastes and different cars. In that way we all
have our favourites and if one doesn't like a particular body style someone
else will. I'm partial to the open wheel well look so for me the previous
years of Riviera were nicer but each to his own. I sure wouldn't kick this
car out of my garage.
