Default NSR 2006 for PC?

Does anyone know if EA is going to release a 2006 version of NSR for the PC?
I figure they could improve on their 2005 beta code for something decent
actually maybe the right word is "tolerable" for 2006.

Amy.

We've been thinking that for 5 years now. Each year just brings more
disappointment.

Until I see universal praise for a NASCAR sim from EA, I will not buy
it. And I'm not talking about the paid clowns from various PC game
review mags. Some of which said NSR was actually quite good!

Yeah, I'm done too...

I now have like 4 of them sitting on the shelf. $150 of unfullfilled
promises.

While the initial release of NSR was dissapointing to say the least I think
few would have disagreed that the features were there to make it a Papy
beater if only the features worked as advertised.

As buggy as it was I am pretty sure most of us would still be hanging with
the sim if only EA acted like they were as serious about the sim after
release as the pre-release hype promised. Being slow with the patches would
perhaps have been forgivable if only EA looked in their forums once in a
while and answered a few questions. As it was the stark contrast between the
promised support and the reality of dead silence could not be explained in
any other way than that we were intentionally lied to. It is the only theory
that fits the facts.

There are a few posts on the EA forum from a "beta tester" claiming another
patch is on the way but no one at EA has confirmed it so .........
