Antifreeze for '87 'vette
The factory service manual for my '87 says use "ethylene glycol coolant. meeting GM
specifications, 1825-M". Plain old Prestone claims to meet that spec. Any horor stories about using plain old Prestone? Chuck Tribolet |

Plain ol' Prestone is fine. You just have to change it more often than
the new stuff. The real horror stories begin when you try to change to the new stuff and don't get every little drop of the old Prestone out.
