2010 at the Worldwide Transportation Library
Hi Viatologists,
2010 has been an interesting year for the Worldwide Transportation Library (WWTL, http://wwtl.info)! Added to our collection of roads and videos were compilations from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, New York, Baja California, and Sonora. (I may be forgetting other countries or states... that's the beauty of travel.) So what's in store for 2011? We'll be expanding our coverage well beyond the United States and into parts previously unvisited. Will it be Africa? Perhaps Patagonia? Or Iceland's East Coast? Wait and see. Our goal is to share scentific findings about roads to increase global awareness and make travel more familiar. The WWTL uses technologies like GPS placemarking, distance charts, streaming video, photo resizing, randomisation, and more to put the important details into your studies. As of today, the WWTL covers roads in the following countries: México, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panamá, Colombia, United States, Canada, Iceland, Irish Republic, Northern Ireland, Denmark, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Seborga, Italia, España, Israel, Japan, the two Chinas, Indonesia, Australia, perhaps others too. To see our collection of road photos and videos, be sure to visit http://wwtl.info/, or by mobile at http://m.wwtl.info/. And don't forget to brush up on the scientific principles of viatology at http://wwtl.info/#viatology.html . Ciao, Carl Rogers "Environment first, transportology second" ******** Worldwide Transportation Library (WWTL): http://wwtl.info http://m.wwtl.info [Mobile] +1 201.676.0185 [Press] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Complete coverage of international roads and railways. Since 2000, we have offered several photographs, videos and Virtual 360 captures -- to each viatologist & transportologist. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ******** |

Maybe the ******* will finally get around to getting some pics of El Camino de la Muerte in Bolivia and the road will live up to its name. Or better yet, that volcano in Iceland will erupt again while he is standing in the caldera. RC |
