1996 Accord - Correct points for scissor jack and jack stands?
Dear Experts,
I have a 1996 Honda Accord. And, a hydraulic scissor jack and jack stands. One thing has always bothered me. The Honda manual only shows how to jack up the car with the scissor jack that comes with the car. In that case, there is only a single point to carry all the weight. No opportunity to use a jack stand. The manual doesn't show how to jack up the car, and put a jack stand under it, then remove the scissor jack. In that case, the car needs two different solid points to carry all the weight. What are the official correct points for the the scissor jack, and the jack stand? Obviously, places like the oil pan are incorrect. If you have a picture, or a link to a video, please send it along. Thanks a lot! |
