Yellowed headlights/"Diamond-cut" clear lenses

My 1995 Explorer headlights really cut down on the pattern, even with Sylvania Silverstars, due to aging/yellowing lenses. Using plastic cleaners/fine steel wool, etc, has not really helped. The ExplorerX forum http://web.explorerx.com/performance/dc.php recommends "Diamond-cut" clear headlight assemblies. Does any one have experience using these? If so, which brand, and how hard to install?

I have no experience with "Diamond cut" but also have aged dull lenses.
I tried Meguire's (sp) plastic polish but it didn't help much. Is there
something else I could try? (steel wool, rubbing compound or etc?) Thanks.

I have tried fine steel wool and various other "compounds" made for the
purpose, with very limited success. I think at some point the lenses need to
be replaced. I would prefer the diamond-cut lenses from what I have read,
but would like to hear from someone who has tried them... OEMs are the other
option.

Been checking different Explorer forums to get info or insight on these
"Diamond Cuts" but have not gotten anything solid yet.
