Default Honda CRV 2002 dome light problem

My 2002 CRV has a problem - the dome light will not come on when the
passenger side door is opened (will come on with all other doors).
around the same time as this problem, my headlights on beeper/alarm
stopped working. could they be related? how do i fix - both these items
occurred (coincidentally) after I had it in for service to the Honda
Dealer (they replaced the throttle body control ) ...

help!

-----------------------------

Jiggle the switch on the passenger's door and see if the interior light
flashes. Spray some silicone in it if it's sticking. Single phillips
screw will remove it if you want to look at how simple the mechanism is.

Curly:

did as you said - took the "bad switch" off - replaced with a switch
from the back that was working - no go AND the good switch on the back
has stopped working when i put it back to where it had been working a
few seconds before - a real head scratcher ... something need to be
reprogrammed in the ECM??? weird very weird
