1948-Plymouth-Special-Delux-4Dr

I think this is a 1947: the 1948 had chrome gravel guards on the front
edge of the back fenders. I learned to drive on one, a lighter gray
than this one pictured, which is another indication that it is a 1947.
Those plastic trim rings are exactly authentic, which is a miracle
because the were very fragile, as in brittle. I've always had a feeling
there was a slight difference in the width of the grille bars between
the 1947 and the 1948, but I'll be damned if I can see exactly what it
was.
