Not all of us. I've been a pretty conservative republican all my life,
although admittedly more than a few of the recent crop of conservatives
remind me uncomfortably of the debating style of Ted Kaczynski more than
that of rational beings.

Actually I'm an equal opportunity smartass, I tend to make fun of both
parties equally. I guess growing up around too many politicians sorta
took away my willingness to believe much of anything they say.

Yeah and the 2006 one has started all freaking ready.

1. That was a .sig line.

2. I'm probably more conservative than you are, but I have some level
of sanity--plus I've been accused of a sense of humor unlike the
mouth foaming lunatics currently doing their best to give
conservatives a bad name.

If you'd eat more of that fiber, you might not be as crabby.

What do you expect? You ever see pictures of those bimbos he used to
keep getting caught with? Geez at least the conservatives have far
better taste in bimbos when they get caught with 'em...

You may be that rarest of all things, a genuine moderate. I believe that
Plato said this first: Everyone hates the moderate, and calls him extreme.
The righties call him a leftist. The lefties call him a rightist. You just
can't win.

A respected member of my community told me today, that because we are a
small mountain community, "We have different laws here". Everyone thinks
I'm an extremist, because I want certain members of the community to obey
certain Colorado laws. I don't think it's too much to ask, that everybody
obey Colorado laws, for example, when they are inside the territorial limits
of Colorado. Same thing goes for any other jurisdiction.
