First, the Chinese use more social services per person than any other
ethnic group. " Among all elderly Chinese immigrants who immigrated to
California between 1980 and 1987, 55 percent - more than half! - were
on welfare in 1990. That Chinese rate is nearly triple the Mexican

Secondly, Chinese have not been subjected to the detrements of
slavery. Their ethnic and family history and traditions were not wiped
out by for-profit slave traders. Chinese people choose to come to the
US. Africans were less motivated to want to come here.

Thirdly, in order to keep the institution of slavery going, white
people had to rationalize the reasons they were justified in keeping
other people in bondage; white people have institutionalized the
concept that Africans are less than human. You may not admit it, you
may not even be aware of it, but racism is part of white American
culture.

They're are many more reasons you are wrong, but you are not such a
good person that you would open your mind to facts that would prove

Start confiscating the assets of businesses hiring illegals and then
no one would want to hire them.

Current society has no effects from the slavery of three generations
ago. The problems are generally sociological though. Minorities and
Majority not cooped up in projects and communities where there is a
general atmosphere of defeat, and throuroughly steeped in dependence on
the monthly welfare check, are on par with the rest of America.
Stop warehousing the the poor. Eliminate liquor stores every few feet
across the street. Make it less appealing to stay in the system.
Start workfare not welfare for those capable of effectively working.
Teach them skills and give them education. Inspire them don't drive them
into despaire. Small classes, in school and immersion in activities at
school etc greatly stimulates the spirit and morale.
Morale, hope, expectation are what it takes. One other thing is more
community friendly policemen. Take the fear out of the communities.

and the Africans have done SO well with Africa after the colonial powers
left....The British left Rhodesia in very good shape,it was considered the
breadbasket of Africa,and now it's Zimbabwe,a disaster area,much like the
rest of Africa. Africa's "ethnic history and traditions" are what's kept
Africa poor,despite all their natural resources.

IMO,the Americans that are descendants of African slaves are incredibly
FORTUNATE that their forebears were brought here,as their lives are
lightyears better than what they would be in Africa,and there's far more
opportunity for them here,if only they choose to take advantage of it.

Same way Protestants and Catholics get along because of all the time
that has passed (500 years). Shi'ites and Sunnis get along so famously
now that there is so much water under the bridge (1500 years). And
nobody has ever called Jews Christ killers because that was a long
time ago (2,000 years). Yeah, just because one's ancestors were
