Default 2003 Caravan Intermittent heating issue

I've got a problem with the heater on a 2003 Grand Caravan. It will blow
hot air with the heater on and then it will start blowing cold air for about
a mintue, then back to hot for about 30 seconds. According to the wife, if
she turns the whole system off just as it's about to blow cold air and then
turns it on right away it will blow the hot air, goes for about 30 seconds
and then just as it starts to cool she turns it off and on again and gets
her hot air back. Any thoughts on what to check to further trouble shoot?

Grabbed the flashlight and checked, sure enough if looks as though it was
that simple, definately too low. Had some in the garage for some reason and
topped it up, can't have a cold wife on Valentines day.

Thanks.
