6-disc dvd/cd player wont eject

I recently purchased a 6-disc dvd/cd player off of E-bay to replace the one
my son broke. I had not trouble loading and playing disc at first, but now
it wont play or eject. All the player does is cycle through the discs, I can
hear it doing it. Any tips on how to safely remove the discs?
