You are right. I noticed it was a Wyoming plate, then went to the web to
find out what year was white. It is also turned out to be the first year with the bucking horse. I don't think the Model T was used by the Post Office in the 1930s, but I could be wrong. During the 40s and 50s in South Dakota, Wyoming and North Dakota you received a new plate every year different colors. Now all you get is a colored sticker for a lot more money. |

In Texas it used to be that way also, 1 year a black plate/white letters,
the next white plate/black letters. Now your registration/tag is actually a sticker on the windshield..... still plates front and rear, but you can put year of manufacture plates on IF they are legible and not repainted. In other words they gotta be in nice shape. So if you have, lets say, a 1940 Chevrolet, you can register 1940 Texas plates to your car. Mike -- The pursuit of happiness is the chase of a lifetime! It is never too late to become what I might have been. > wrote in message ... > You are right. I noticed it was a Wyoming plate, then went to the web to > find out what year was white.
