Simply that. What was the highest speed you've ever driven in a parking
lot? Not counting access roads, etc, the actual parking lot and
associated drives.

Mine was 40 in a long strip mall east of here.

The fastest I have ever driven in a parking lot was 65 on a 20.

I did about 35 once, but I wasnt driving. I was riding a young
arabian horse who decided to take off on me, blast thru the woods,
across a creek, across a highway, thru a gas station lot, and into the
Walmart parking lot. She finally stopped when she got in between too
many cars to go that speed and I was able to pull the reins to get her
to stop. I had to get the trainer back to work with her more after
that. I nearly **** my pants that day.

Someone got a Delorean here in Quakertown, PA. Doesn't look too good
though. Pretty dull finish on it now.

I believe the finish on those cars was stainless steel.

Not sure, but 40 is so non eventful, that I am sure it was higher.

Somewhere around 70 (too fast for second gear, anyway) - Milwaukee
County Stadium.

Autocrossing with SCCA, Wisconsin Autocross, Inc., Porsche Club ...

How about the same speed at the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds' Petit Ice
Center parking lot? BMW CCA car control school.

Or do you mean only *illegally*?

Well, I don't mean in the sense of the parking lot being used as a
legitimate race course or driving school--just a standard parking lot.
Though I don't know about the term "illegal"--what is an illegal speed
in a parking lot? Most around here don't have any posted.
