Oh, Good Lord! Heaven forbid that I should cast nasturtiums, Jason!
I defer to your expertise. You obviously have the ability to judge with only one sensory input, whereas most of us actually need to call upon others. Bruce. FFS, Bruce, I just offered an opinion based on the trailer, which is all anyone can do at this point. I'm not sure why you're getting all up in arms about it. |

WTF? So then what Bruce? Maybe - "Hi everyone. I went out and got the 'Best Thing Since Sliced Bread Racing Sim' and I agree with you all - it's a complete waste of money!". ?????????????? |

Nope....I don't think I ever have. Not for a computer game.
But then, I have had some rubbish which was bought on a whim! Too much disposable income, perhaps. Also, between 1989 and 1998, I was involved with a computer-entertainment retailer and could "test" games to my heart's content. Over the past seven years I have only bought a handful of "games" (mostly Papyrus), one of which I was involved with at the beta level. Others that have passed across my HDD have usually been sourced by my son (very handy!), a notable exception being Grand Prix Legends and I didn't need a review to buy that....it was going to be bought from the first day I read about its development. But if I *were* to be influenced by reviews, there is only one source that would hold that power over me, and that is the magazine Computer Gaming World. An exceptionally-fine magazine in a gaming-world of journalistic crap. Bruce "whooo" > wrote in message ... > Byron Forbes wrote: > > > Hehe, yep, you're right of course.
