Dunno if it's even legal in Florida, but I know a place here on the MS
gulf coast that has a fairly extensive stock of Dupont Duracryl. It
isn't cheap!! You have to want it pretty bad because the price is
similar to 1st line basecoat prices.

Supply, demand and legal availability has skyrocketed the price.

You may email me if you want further info.

Check in your yellow pages for a painters supply store, the kind that
supplies the auto body repair shops. They mixed me up a quart of perfect
acrylic lacquer to the precise original spec. Am very happy with it. Just
bring your original color code with you.

I talked to the guy and he has checked several stores and all have said no
to lacquer. But he has checked some body shops and they point him right
back to the same stores!

Anyone get any in the last couple of months and where did you get it?

I think he is willing to drive 100 miles since he wants to match the color
as close as possible.
