Default '97 GMC Sonoma computer problem part 2

(If you read the other post with this name, I screwed up) I recently had
the alternator replaced, and now the ODB went off, how can I fix this.
preferably without taking it back to the shop.

Buy a scan tool, and reset the ECM.

When it looses power, it takes several run cycles to establish a
active emission control record in the ECM.
